Morgan,

Glad you like the record. I would suggest you continue to enjoy it! The best way to explain it to the uninitiated is to press play and offer them a cocktail.

It's just a combo platter of musical treats. A little this, a little that, and the sum is greater than it's parts; hopefully!

Jace,

I absolutely love your Red Revelations CD (album to us old-school music buffs)... when I tell my friends about it, I really can't classify it as one genre or another. It's not country, not rockabilly, not rock... what would you suggest I refer to it as?

Thanks,
MQM

I like this bit actually, generally just chilling out with the generally freakish pressure of Christmas over. Speaking of Christmas, it seems that vein fizzing voice of yours has rocked my tribe even more than I thought. To my shock and surprise, I found a copy of Red Revelations knocking about a relative's house this week.

Having confronted her with the aforementioned evidence, she confessed that she was indeed a fan through the True Blood tv series (no!). The surprising twist however is that under further examination she admitted that due to a certain level of interweb incompetence and shortsightedness, she accidentally bought a few more copies than the one she intended to buy.

So apparently there were a few extra unexpected Jacey gifts floating around my cousins this Christmas (of course I didn't get one!). Alas, we cannot buy any more Red Revelation copies without probably having to obtain a distribution licence, so we shall patiently await any new upcoming offerings. I will, however, remember to hide her glasses.

That's straight up!

Actually, since I'm waxing lyrical, I wrote a schlocky message on your facebook fanpage yesterday and then took it off, I haven't quite got the hang of this posting lark yet. But what I was basically trying to say is that I haven't enjoyed that huge talent/small venue vibe since Morphine sadly had to bow out a decade or so ago. I miss them. However there's a lot of life about you and your music. Oh yes, the force is strong with this one. Who knows, by this time next year you might be playing to Neil Diamond size arenas, but hopefully I'll get back to see you perform before you get to the cigar and hottubs phase of your career. Ciao for now! (i can type fast, so this really didn't take as long as it looks!!) Happy New Year!
