True Blood Withdrawal? Get Yo Fix…

No True Blood until July 12th!! What better time to dry your bloody tears and check out the new Jace Everett record; “RED REVELATIONS”.
11 brand new tracks on the CD, some inspired by the first season of True Blood! And of course the vampirey goodness of the bonus track; “Bad Things (Theme from True Blood)”.

Gotta get the instant fix? Go to iTunes and download all 12 tracks for only $9.99!!

Want the pretty pictures and new music smell? Order the CD right here at The Store.

If you really like your needles there’s always the two vinyl versions of the record; 180g BLACK vinyl, or the “Special Blood Red Edition” which includes 180g RED vinyl, a signed album jacket, and a personally autographed photo of Jace.

Bill & Sookie will be back on the twelfth of July. I think Mr. Everett even broke down and ordered cable!

I found a video on YouTube a while back, completely unfindable now, of course, in which I believe you stated that Bad Things was originally, not about anything sexy. The lyrics were “to you” not “with you”. I wrote about on the site I manage, Vampires.com, and now I feel like an idiot because I can’t confirm it with the video. Can you, pretty please, tell me if I was misinformed, or not? By the way, you’re fabulous, and I always give your song its own little paragraph, or line or two when I do an episode recap.

Thanks for making us girls and True Blood fans get out of our chairs and dance dirty in the living room!

Like a few others, Bad Things (insert frantic fanning motions here) was my first exposure to your music. I’m hooked. Found your first album and just rec’d Old New Borrowed Blues (listening to it now – hot, hot, hot) and Red Revelations. They’ll make the wait for Bill and Sookie easier. Or harder. :) So how can we get you to Wyoming? Your fan base is growing by leaps and bounds here as our little group spreads the word about True Blood and your music (frantic fanning again). I wanna do bad things…

    Annibo,

You are correct. The song started off as more angry than sexy. It stayed that way for only about 10 minutes though.

I never thought the signature would take 2nd place to the fact that you have lyrics on the record sleeve. i am in awe of this beautiful touch.
Now, since I will be at the Salem event – after ditching my portland friends – anychance you’d be so kind and southern hospitable enough to correct the spelling of my name for the red vinly signing? I am only on the west coast 2.5 months.and then i think you will kind of miss me desiring your west coast presence a bit.

Oops. Sorry I screwed up the spelling. I’m mildly stupid.

Absolutely, we’ll get it fixed. Bring duct tape, an acetylene torch, and some hump straps.

    Overkill, it’s my specialty!
